What motivates you for joining this international project?
My task within ISCA for this project is to contribute to the success of the EU-China exchange program and I am motivated to facilitate and engage in meaningful discussions about the future of physical activity.
What do you bring to the project? (skills, good example,…)
As I come originally from a small Austrian village in the middle of the Alps, alpine sports like skiing and climbing have always been an integral part of my live. When I had the opportunity in 2018, to study a variety of subjects in China (Beijing + Shanghai) for one month, I got first hand experience about Chinese culture and the differences concerning Europe. Therefore, I am able to bring practical sport experience in combination with intercultural understanding.
What are your expectations of MOVE Transfer Europe – China project? What would you like to learn?
First of all, I hope for an honest and open exchange of ideas and concepts to broaden our knowledge about each others approaches to a more physically active society. Moreover, I would also like to learn to speak a few sentences in the languages of our participants.
