Bio

What motivates you for joining this international project?

My task within ISCA for this project is to contribute to the success of the EU-China exchange program and I am motivated to facilitate and engage in meaningful discussions about the future of physical activity.

What do you bring to the project? (skills, good example,…)

As I come originally from a small Austrian village in the middle of the Alps, alpine sports like skiing and climbing have always been an integral part of my live. When I had the opportunity in 2018, to study a variety of subjects in China (Beijing + Shanghai) for one month, I got first hand experience about Chinese culture and the differences concerning Europe. Therefore, I am able to bring practical sport experience in combination with intercultural understanding.

What are your expectations of MOVE Transfer Europe – China project? What would you like to learn?

First of all, I hope for an honest and open exchange of ideas and concepts to broaden our knowledge about each others approaches to a more physically active society.
Moreover, I would also like to learn to speak a few sentences in the languages of our participants.

Please, provide also info on:

Where do you live? Name of the city and size of its population.

At the moment, I live in Copenhagen (600.000) but I lived in Salzburg (150.000) before.

Your regular (daily, weekly) physical activity.

It strongly depends on the season in Austria, in Denmark I do mainly swimming and running.

Your communication tools that you use regular (daily).

E-Mails, Phone Calls, WhatsApp
